Two Hands (twohandshospitality.com / @twohandsrestaurant) is seeking a lead barista to join our team at Two Hands Tribeca. Open availability is essential, especially on weekends.Two Hands Hospitality is a group of community-focused Australian restaurants. Serving breakfast through dinner, we fuel your lifestyle with fresh, delicious food, cocktails, and coffee. We are a fast-growing, innovative hospitality group with restaurants in NYC, Austin, Dallas, Nashville, Franklin, and Denver.This is a lead barista position. Extensive barista experience in a restaurant is required, as well as leadership experience in previous positions.
OUR KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- At least three years of experience as a barista in a high-volume and fast-paced restaurant environment
- Open availability is required, especially on weekends
- Bar experience is a plus
- Knowledge and understanding of a daytime dining program that includes coffee, specialty drinks, alcoholic beverages, and varied menu items
- Ability to maintain composure during busy service periods and show initiative in undertaking side work during slower times
- Reliability and punctuality
- A friendly, welcoming, and energetic personality
- Ability and willingness to learn and work well within a team
- Great work ethic and a passion for service
- A love for hospitality
