One of the most celebrated restaurants in the United States, Estela is an intimate downtown bistro from chef Ignacio Mattos can be experienced in many ways, whether it’s a thrilling dinner in the dining room, a leisurely weekend brunch with friends, or a late-night drink at the bustling bar. Since opening in 2013, the restaurant has served several signature dishes that are now considered New York City classics, while always offering guests something new to try.
Our commitment to quality and passion for exceptional dining experiences have earned estela one Michelin star, among other major accolades.
This is a part time, daytime position. This position is not eligible to receive tips.
Key Responsibilities:

Prep and batch syrups, cordials, and fresh juices to bar specs

Maintain a clean and organized prep area, following safety standards

Stock and label all bar prep items and track inventory levels

Assist with daily bar and dining room setup, breakdown, and deliveries

Communicate with the bar team to prioritize and complete prep tasks

Physical Demands
- The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
