• Position: Sushi Maki Line Cook

• Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality sushi maki rolls in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled with care
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi station
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate orders
• Maintain high standards of food presentation and consistency
• Assist in creating new menu items and seasonal offerings
• Perform prep work and assist in inventory management
• Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a sushi chef, specifically in maki preparation
• Knowledge of various fish and seafood preparation techniques
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume setting
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility with shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• A passion for seafood and fine dining

Preferred:

• Culinary degree or sushi-specific training
• Prior experience in upscale or fine-dining restaurants
