Full-time postion: 30-35 hours/week

Compensation: $15 + Tip / hour (estimated average of $33/hour total compensation)

Golden Diner is an intimate and welcoming Asian diner located in Manhattan’s Two Bridges. Unlike your average diner, our restaurant has achieved national acclaim and recognition from the James Beard Foundation, Food & Wine Magazine, The New Yorker, Vogue, and Resy, to name a few, and was recently listed as one of New York Time's 100 Best Restaurants in New York City.

We are looking for a full-time host to take on 5 shifts a week with room to grow into other roles within the restaurant, if desired. 

What to Expect on the Job

• Greet incoming and departing guests with a smile
• Maintain a waitlist of walk in guests in conjunction with reservations
• Utilize Resy to organize seating 
• Assist in seating guests and insuring prompt, efficient, and courteous service
• Ensure tables are prepped for guests by being properly bussed and reset
• Handle reservations, questions, and complaints when necessary
• Contribute to team effort by pitching in on side-works and cleaning duties as needed
• Availability on weekends and holidays
