The Waverly Inn is a full-service restaurant focusing on Classic American cuisine, an extensive selection of wines, the highest quality hospitality.
Our guests are the most important thing to us and an ideal candidate for this roll should understand what it means to be outgoing, professional, and always a team player who is eager to help in any situation
We are currently looking for a Wine Runner/Steward who is interested in advancement to Sommelier.
- Candidates must be hospitality focused, able to think on their feet and operate according to all standards outlined by the restaurant.
- Minimum 2-year high volume NYC experience.
- Basic wine knowledge encouraged. Job handles deliveries/inventory/wine retreaval (during service) so needs to be on their feet for 8 hours.
- All members of the service staff are responsible for all nightly restaurant reporting.
- All candidates must be local to the NYC metro area and have availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This position is for a schedule of at least 2+ shifts per week

Compensation: Hourly ($16.50) plus tips
