We are looking for highly motivated, experienced individuals to join our team as a line cook inside Philadelphia International Airport!
Qualifications for an ideal candidate include, but are not limited to:
- AT LEAST 3+ years of high-volume, Back of House industry experience is a must
- ServSafe certification or other relevant food safety certification
- Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Effecient communicator and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Must pass airport security background checks and obtain all necessary badges/credentials.
Responsibiliities for the position include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and cook menu items consistently and efficiently according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station while complying with health code regulations.
- Execute food prep and portioning to meet high-volume demands during peak travel hours.
- Assist with stocking, labeling, and rotating inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and managers to ensure smooth service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and security protocols required within an airport environment.
- Adapt quickly to changing menus, special requests, and time-sensitive service needs.
