Position Overview:
The Reservationist will have a strong eye for detail and a drive for providing exceptional customer service. The Reservationist will utilize their communication and interpersonal skills to inquiring clients, and all visitors. This person will also ensure that all efforts align directly with the company’s overall culture and strategy. Key aspects to this position include but are not limited to:
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a cheerful, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and staff at all times
- Manage reservations through all outlets, responding to inquiries, booking requests, and confirming availability
- Interact with guests through various channels, assisting with changes and/or cancelations
- Print menus in the requested format for private events and/or dinners
- Fulfill daily internal requests such as printing dinner menus, managing mail, and addressing day-to-day inquiries
- Occasionally travel to Tuxedo Hospitality properties to drop off menus and/or other items
- Respond to guest complaints, questions, and comments with excellent communication, escalating when needed
- All other tasks assigned to you
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience of receptionist, hospitality, or communications
- Has a visual eye for graphic and graphic designing
- Must possess strong communication skills both orally and written
- Must possess strong presentation skills
- Excellent writing and organization skills
- Proven ability to work independently with limited direction
- Detail oriented, self-starter with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work efficiently and effectively
