Location: Philadelphia, PA (BOK location for weekend shifts)
This is the schedule for the position:
- Tuesdays 8:00am – 3:00pm (Rittenhouse Farmers Market)
- Friday – Sunday 7:30am – 12:00pm (Bakery at BOK location)
About Us:
Second Daughter is a small, values-driven bakery located inside the Bok Building. We’re passionate about creating memorable pastries and treats, and we value kindness, reliability, and a positive attitude in our team.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and organized Counter / Front of House team member to work both our farmers market and bakery shifts. This role is customer-facing and fast-paced, and we’re seeking someone who can stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and be a kind, welcoming presence.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve customers at the farmers market and bakery with warmth and professionalism
- Handle POS transactions accurately and efficiently
- Keep the front of house clean, stocked, and organized
- Answer guest questions clearly and politely, even during busy times
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and fellow team members
- Assist with setup, packaging, light prep, or other tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Availability for weekends (Friday – Sunday) and Tuesdays
- Ability to stay calm and focused during busy service
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
- Comfortable multitasking and handling a line
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
- Interest in pastries and hospitality is a bonus

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly (Based on Experience) plus tips
