We are a sushi bar dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience through fresh, high-quality ingredients and warm, attentive service. Rooted in Japanese hospitality and modern dining, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for every guest who walks through our doors. We have a full bar and cocktail lounge with food service, a dining room, and a private dining room.

Position Summary
As a Host, you will play a key role in shaping our guests’ first and lasting impressions. You will manage reservations, greet guests warmly, and ensure smooth front-of-house operations. Your professionalism and positivity will help create a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities

Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival and departure.

Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists (RESY experience a plus).

Ensure smooth guest flow during peak dining periods.

Provide accurate information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.

Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.

Collaborate with the service team to maximize guest satisfaction.

Assist with food & beverage delivery support as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting host stand and entry area.

Monitor bathroom and front-of-house cleanliness throughout service.

Support special events or private dining functions as assigned.
Qualifications

Previous host or hospitality experience required.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (in-person, phone, and email).

Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Positive attitude with a guest-first mindset.

Team-oriented approach, with flexibility to assist as needed.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Skills

POS experience (Toast preferred).

RESY or similar reservation system knowledge.

Familiarity with Japanese food and culture (a plus, but not required).
