Meadow Lane is a gourmet prepared foods market opening in Tribeca in 2025. Our store features extensive grab-and-go menu options with a coffee, tea, and smoothie bar, organic juices, and daily pastries, all crafted by award-winning chefs in-house. 

In addition to locally-sourced farm produce, we offer a curated selection of pantry staples, snacks, and household goods, plus a floral studio creating custom arrangements. We focus on one-of-a-kind products, sustainable sourcing, and a beautiful, tranquil, and welcoming environment, making Meadow Lane more than a grocery store, but an experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

Meadow Lane is seeking career-oriented, full-time baristas who see hospitality as a profession. We want baristas who care about precision, warmth, and consistency — the familiar faces that keep customers returning.

Key Priorities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, matcha, juices, and smoothies with consistency and pride.
• Keep the bar area spotless, stocked, and well-organized.
  
  
• Deliver service with genuine hospitality and professionalism.
• Communicate product knowledge and engage customers with ease.
• Support teammates and keep standards high under pressure.

This role is full time (35–40 hrs/week), with growth potential and the possibility of a salaried role with benefits for the right candidate.

Schedule & Commitment

• This is a full-time role (35–40 hrs/week) with consistent scheduling.
• Must have flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
• We are seeking applicants interested in long-term stability and professional growth, not temporary or seasonal work.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year in a café, juice bar, or hospitality setting preferred. 
• Familiarity with food handling practices and use of commercial equipment and tools such as knives, blenders, and espresso machines
• Reliable, consistent, and proud of their craft.
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Able to stand/walk 6–8 hrs and handle bar equipment with skill.
• Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• May require use of ladders.
