Job Details
Seeking experienced bartender to deliver excellent drinks, service and to assist bar director with cocktail development, prep and accountability.

Violet Bistro, Cooking School & Shop is an upscale neighborhood French bistro located in Westwood. We've successfully fostered a close-knit staff and are looking for a like-minded bartender. 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high quality service
  • Mix and serve drinks following house recipes
  • Take orders using Toast handheld POS 
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
  • Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
  • Assist with inventory control, prepping syrups and batches
  • Maintain standards for self and co-workers
  • Food, wine and menu knowledge a must

Qualifications for Bartender
  • 2 years of experience in a bar or similar environment
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, and mixed cocktails
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage stress with grace, and to keep an upbeat attitude when busy
  • Leadership qualities to help maintain standards across staff

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($17.87) plus tips
