As the Chef de Cuisine for S.K.Y. Restaurant, you will be the heart of the kitchen—responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of all dishes. You will lead and inspire a team of cooks and chefs, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality, consistency, and taste. You will play a crucial role in kitchen operations, menu development, and staff training, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the culinary team in the creation, preparation, and presentation of dishes.

Partner with the head Culinary Team to develop and update menus that reflect seasonal ingredients, current trends, and the restaurant’s vision.

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and control food and labor costs.

Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive environment.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, or similar leadership role.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Deep knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.

Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for developing new and exciting dishes.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Proficiency in financial management, P&L statements, and labor models.

Organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy.

Physically capable of standing, lifting, and working in a high-volume kitchen.
