This role focuses on preparing daily market offerings and assisting with our catering program. From elevated prepared meals and fresh baked goods to private events and bespoke catering, we offer a unique experience rooted in hospitality and quality.

Position Overview
This is a hands-on cooking role that blends market prep and production with event and catering support. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and values quality ingredients, teamwork, and a strong kitchen culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute a rotating selection of daily market offerings: soups, seasonal salads, composed meals, sides, spreads, etc.
- Assist with catering prep and execution for private dinners and special events
- Assist in production and execution of catering orders for private dinners, off-site events, and custom menus.
- Follow recipes and systems to ensure consistency, flavor, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards across all prep and service areas.
- Support occasional delivery, setup, or service for catering events.
- Collaborate with our small but mighty team to help with creative development of new items and seasonal menus.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of kitchen experience in restaurants, markets, or catering
- Strong knife skills, attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Ability to follow recipes, manage time, and stay organized during service and prep
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
- Availability for weekend and holiday shifts is a must
- Passion for seasonal cooking, local ingredients, and thoughtful food
- Must be local to Kennett Square or surrounding Chester County area
