Smoke Jazz Club is looking for new members of our team!  After 25 years in our original location on the Upper West Side, we have renovated to reopen in 2022 bigger and better than ever.  Do you love live music and great food?  Do you have the hospitality instinct in your blood? Smoke Jazz Club would love to meet you! We are currently seeking the following Front of House position:

Host

• A minimum of one year of front-of-house experience in a high volume environment.
• Ability to work 40 hours a week - Wednesday through Sunday.
• Full availability throughout December and the holidays is a must.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and stay calm, organized, and focused.
• Good communication skills - we work as a team here, and we are nice. Please be nice, too.
• Excellent and articulate phone etiquette.
• Ability to think quickly on your feet - most of this job is fast paced problem solving for customers.
• A friendly and outgoing demeanor that makes guests feel welcome.
• Basic Computer Skills (MobileBytes knowledge a plus as well as reservation/online ticketing platforms).
• A professional attitude and a polished appearance.

Fans of live music are especially encouraged to apply! Previous experience in live music venues a plus.
