Dishwasher

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by ensuring all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment are washed, sanitized, and stored properly. This position plays a key role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.

• Keep dishwashing area clean and organized throughout the shift.

• Empty trash, recycling, and compost bins as needed.

• Maintain cleaning supplies and alert management when restocking is necessary.

• Assist with basic kitchen prep or other cleaning tasks as assigned.

• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of chemicals.

• Ensure that floors and surfaces remain clean, dry, and safe during service.

• Make sure bathrooms are kept clean and tidy.

• Work efficiently to keep up with the pace of service.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred, but not required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

• Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.

• Team player with good communication skills.
