We are hiring for our launch this fall and are looking for a full time Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager.

Role Overview

Our full time Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager will ensure kitchen operations run smoothly before, during and after service. You will oversee prep and execution, maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness, and support the Chef Consultant’s vision. Your responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Supervise BOH line staff during service, managing prep lists and execution.
• Ensure all dishes meet quality and consistency standards.
• Manage inventory counts, deliveries, and ordering as directed by Chef Consultant.
• Uphold kitchen safety, sanitation, and health code standards.
• Act as a keyholder, opening/closing kitchen, securing inventory, and communicating with management.

Ideal Skill Set

• 5+ years professional kitchen experience (wine bar or small-plate concepts a plus).
• Comfortable in a leadership role, able to train and mentor staff.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• ServSafe Certified is a plus and WILL be a requirement.
• Availability for nights, weekends and some holidays.
