K’Far is hiring an experienced server to join our team!

Qualified applicants will join a team of committed servers, baristas, support staff and managers with a steadfast commitment to the highest hospitality standards and product knowledge in a fast paced, upscale casual atmosphere. The right candidate is both professional and personal, with an impeccable work ethic and a team player attitude.

This is a 2-3 shifts per week position with room to potentially grow into a full-time position over time, and weekends are mandatory. Please note that we are open 8am-5pm daily.

Direct responsibilities include:

Maintaining high standards in a casual fine dining environment

Having an acute attention to detail with guests

Efficiently multi-tasking with a sense of urgency

Flexibility and willingness to cross-train and potentially work multiple positions in the restaurant

Professional attitude

Punctual

Supporting fellow front of house team members

Required Experience Includes:

At least 2 years of serving experience

Experience Hosting

High volume restaurant experience

Some Barista experience/knowledge

Experience with Toast POS

Some experience with Resy

The right candidate is exceedingly dependable, puts forth a great attitude, is looking to learn and grow every day, and is committed to our small-but-mighty team. Meaning “village” in Hebrew, K’Far is an Israeli bakery and café inspired by the food, energy and warmth of Israeli bakeries that chef Mike Solomonov experienced at his very first kitchen job: working at a bakery in his hometown just outside of Tel Aviv, K’Far Saba.

K'Far's menu features Israeli pastries – such as borekas with Bulgarian feta, chocolate rugelach, and babka – and an all-day menu of salads and grain bowls, as well as toasts made with traditional Yemenite Kubaneh bread and pressed Jerusalem Bagel sandwiches, all made in-house. Beverage-wise, K'Far offers a full coffee drink menu with beans by local favorite, Ox Coffee, and cocktails.

Open Monday-Sunday from 8am till 5pm for preordered pickup and walk-up ordering, as well as for inside and patio seating.
