About the Company
Eleven Madison Park is a fine dining restaurant that overlooks Madison Square Park in New York City. First opened in 1998 as a French brasserie, the restaurant has been headed by Chef Daniel Humm since 2006 and owned by his company Make it Nice Hospitality since 2011. Eleven Madison Park has evolved significantly under his leadership both in food and in experience, earning several accolades including 4 stars from the New York Times and 3 stars from the Michelin Guide.
Reports to: Chef de Cuisine
Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Support
· Oversee kitchen administrative tasks such as prep lists, DOH documentation, recipe standardization and R&D documentation
· Coordinate meetings and tastings, maintaining agendas and follow-up notes
· Act as liaison for offsite events and collaborations
· Coordinate ideation and production of new service pieces
· Assist with Magic Farms planning and communication
· Manage menu and photo archives
· Assist with maintaining Chef de Cuisine and Kitchen calendars
· Handle correspondence for Chef de Cuisine and compile documents and menus as needed
HR, Hiring and Staffing Support
· Assist scheduling manager with schedule changes and time off requests
· Assist kitchen managers with creation of corrective action forms and termination forms
· Work with HR Manager on hiring and informing the team of new hires
· Work on developing new ways to bring talent into the company
· Help build and oversee an alumni communication program
General Support
· Act as a liaison between the kitchen, dining room and other departments to coordinate initiatives and meetings when needed
· Handle special projects and assignments as requested
· Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
· Support with travel itineraries and timelines as needed for R&D or other trips
Qualifications
· Previous hospitality experience required, fine dining preferred
· Minimum 1–2 years of assistant, coordinator or administrative experience
· Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks
· Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel as well as SharePoint
· Professional, polished, and discreet

· Pay Range: $75,000-$80,000, based on experience
