Good To Eat Taiwanese Cuisine is looking for junior sous chef. 
 
We are a chef-driven menu-rotating fine casual establishment -- as a full service restaurant, our food is inspired by Taiwanese Flavor sensibility and leverage local ingredients incorporate with Taiwanese cooking technique and fermentation .   more info:  WeAreGoodToEat.com
 
our brick and motar is 3 years now and we are looking for a junior sous chef to assist our executive chef. 
 
to quality, you must:
You need to be an experienced professional kitchen line and prep cook before . 
You need to be able to pickup at all stations and able to master two stations soon from us. (we have cold app, grill, frying, noodle, and sautee) 
Able to manage certain dishes ingredients, par, prep, invnetory. 
Able to maintain quality of food in your managing area/ tasks, know when to check with chef. 
Able to optimize the process, and pass down knowledge to team members. 
Able to make sure new hire and team members perform to meet the standard 
Assist Chef for new dishes.

Interview and hiring process: 
We will proceed with interview first, once hire, here is the process to expect: 
 
Step 1: You need to be able to pickup the tasks by yourself and able to perform it well and to the standard first . You will spend the first 3 months to pickup the tasks and prove you are able to do all of these to chef's standard, and know what's chef's standard. 
 
Step 2: You will start to manage the area of responsibility by yourself.

We are @goodtoeatdumplings -- see our food, culture, and how we operate as a popup. and now, this is our brick'n' motar restaurant -- just opened by May 2022, we already got incredible reviewed by local news, and Oct 2022, we got an amazing recognition by a food critic from the new york time.

We just started our business 2.0 after 4 year popup with lots of amazing community support. Our menu incorporate Taiwanese sensibility with local ingredient. We love using our food to bridge culture and build community.

During the 4 years, we create our own Taiwanese sensibility-inspired recipe, we work with local farms, we have successful menu, we got lots or recognition, and we have a established small team culture who always look out to each other and learn together.

After 4 years we opened our Brick-n-Motar soon in Emeryville, Aiming to have our own home base to serve our customers even better. We are very eager to put what we have doing on culinary map.

Our menu will continue our current menu plus more delicate dishes that we were not able to serve.

We are looking for full time BOH and FOH team members to join us on this journey.
