Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour (with tips)
A Japanese restaurant, Ootoya is looking for experienced head servers/Captains to join our team.
Organized, detail oriented, hospitality professionals are needed for our company.
Compensations:
- $18.00 - $23.00 + tips (candidates must complete server and captain training prior to appointment to the head server)
Duties:
- General FOH jobs
- Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors, store maintenance
- Reporting to managers
- Inventory
- Ordering
- Scheduling
- New employee training
- On spot problem solving
- Be in charge of the presence of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have an OPEN schedule for both weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift 40LB as needed
- Must have at least 2-year of experience (as a server/head server)
Preferred Qualification:
- Have a strong sense of responsibility and leadership
- Organized, punctual people are needed
- Cooperative/Team Player
- Japanese Restaurant experience is a priority considered
- NYC Food protection certificate
