Gaijin currently is hiring line cooks!
Our ideal candidates will have experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, all while maintaining a focused but fun attitude. If you are dependable and prompt and a team player, we'd love to hear from you!


Located in Chicago's West Loop, Gaijin by Chef Paul Virant is Chicago’s first and only dedicated okonomiyaki and kakigori restaurant. Okonomiyaki is a savory Japanese pancake, and kakigori is a Japanese shaved-ice dessert. Gaijin was named one of Chicago's best new restaurants by Chicago magazine in 2020.
