Fork gastro pub in Lincoln Square & Grill cooks for our sister restaurant KNIFE, a neo classical steakhouse. Lead Line Cooks/ KMs are responsible for preparing high quality food in a timely, efficient, safe and sanitary manner. Responsibilities include following established recipes, procedures, and presentation specifications as well as meeting food and safety standards. Lead Line Cooks must maintain their stations and be an example of our standards in a cleanliness, sanitation and working in partnership with Chefs, Prep Cooks, Butchers, Dishwashers, Runners, Managers, and other team members to ensure that each and every guest receives exceptional food and hospitality.
Lead Line Cooks will join a team-oriented kitchen to share their enthusiasm about food, charcuterie, cheese and beer. They will be responsible for solid closes, daily counts, sauce inventories and ensuring all stations close the kitchen in an organized fashion!
Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends, be able to lift 50lbs and show leadership skills.
Preferred experience: 2 years experience in similar capacity
