About the Position:
We are looking for a P.M. Garde Manger Cook to lead the cold kitchen during dinner service. This role focuses on executing salads, chilled soups, composed appetizers, and other cold preparations with precision and creativity. Candidates should possess strong knife and plating skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive during busy evening service periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, plate, and execute all garde manger dishes for dinner service.
- Maintain and organize mise en place, ensuring freshness, consistency, and readiness for service.
- Collaborate on the development of seasonal a la carte items and event menus.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in garde manger areas and walk-ins.
- Communicate effectively with the culinary and service teams to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience or culinary school training.
- Prior garde manger or cold station experience preferred.
- Exceptional knife and plating skills with an eye for presentation.
- Strong organizational habits and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Team-oriented mindset, creativity, and willingness to learn.
