Bartender

Bar 109 / Corridor 109 is hiring a Bartender to join our team for Friday and Saturday service!

Bar 109 is a new bar concept featuring a full-liquor, cocktail, wine, and sake program—operating separately from the main restaurant. We’re looking for a hardworking, reliable Bartender to support the bar team and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in a beverage-forward environment working directly with our head bartender and a passionate team.

The Bartender position is multifaceted and will include barback and server duties. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes initiative, stays organized, and is open to supporting the bar program in different capacities as needed each night. Must be available Friday and Saturday evenings. 

Responsibilities:

• Work under the direction of the Head Bartender to execute cocktail program, know the cocktails required for the program, including the signature cocktail list. 
• Have knowledge of Bar 109’s by the glass wine and sake offerings
• Support Head Bartender in daily bar setup, service, and breakdown
• Keep bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service
• Prepare garnishes, juices, syrups, and other cocktail ingredients as may be required
• Assist with receiving and organizing inventory and deliveries
• Refill ice bins, restock spirits, beer, wine, and sake as needed
• Polish glassware and help maintain overall cleanliness of the bar and all service areas
• Wash dishes and glassware as needed
• Help with trash removal and bathroom checks as part of end-of-day cleanup
• Assist in closing duties and daily side work tasks
• Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
• Server and host duties as may be required for booth seating
• Learn and grow knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and sake offerings
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of bartender experience
• Must be available Friday and Saturday evenings
• Team player, no ego, we are looking for exceptional candidates that are willing to roll up their sleeves and do any and every task needed for the restaurant. Must have strong principles and integrity
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Interest in cocktails and hospitality
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
• Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Full availability, including nights and weekends
