The hit comedy, DRUNK SHAKESPEARE, is hiring in Chicago! We are looking for savvy professionals to join our team of multi-talented support staff. We foster an incredibly fun environment in the style of a secret society & speakeasy. We strive to provide patrons with a unique and memorable experience, so service quality is a top priority. Candidates must have weekend and holiday availability.
Weekday shifts will run approximately 6pm-10pm
Weekend shifts can vary, with staff working 4-7 hours between 3:30pm and 12am
This is a part-time position.
While we look for candidates with backgrounds in cocktail bartending and service. Theater box office experience is a bonus, but not required. We are willing to train smart, motivated people. We value friendly, hardworking multi-taskers who place guest experience above all else. All FOH staff share production and service responsibilities, splitting tips among bar and FOH.
Actively seeking employees who are eager to cross-train on Bar. Bartending experience is required.!
All employees must be 21+ and vaccinated against Covid-19.
Working as a team, all employees will:
- Assist with running box office / checking IDs
- Assist with set up and clean up
- Serving drinks to guests during the duration of the play.
- Assist Bar Manager/Bartender with all aspects of bar maintenance and execution.
- Stock bar area, prepare garnishes, light food prep.
- Maintain theatre and bar area, running laundry, cleaning surfaces, and stocking bathrooms.
Compensation: $13/hr + Tip Share (tips usually add $10-$20/hour), $17.51/hr for admin tasks as they arise.
