Job Summary:
Yi-Cha, a new Korean gastropub opening its doors in the heart of the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, is seeking an energetic and skilled bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create memorable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities:
• Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following established recipes.
• Take beverage and food orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glasses and ensuring proper stock of supplies.
• Adhere to all state and local alcohol service regulations and ID verification requirements.
• Engage with guests, making recommendations based on preferences, and upselling items where appropriate.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the menu and drink offerings.
• Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including restocking and cleaning.
• Work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
• Prior bartending experience in a high-volume setting is required.
• In-depth knowledge of drink mixing and beverage service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol as per local/state laws.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• A positive, energetic attitude and a professional appearance.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in relation to bar operations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
• Must be eligible to work in the the US
