Massara is a new restaurant from the Rezdôra team and is dedicated to the food & hospitality of the Campania region in Italy. The restaurant was founded by CIA graduate Chef Stefano Secchi and entrepreneur David Switzer and we are located temporarily in the former Time & Tide space at 48 E 26th street.
We are currently looking for a passionate bartender who loves Italian food, wine, cocktails and culture to join our team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a New York City bartender
- Passionate interest in classic cocktails
- Desire to create new & innovative cocktails, with focus on Italian ingredients
- Desire to learn in detail about traditional & authentic, Italian food, wine, beer and spirits
- Excellent bar dining operations and knowledge, including steps of service
- Self-starter with capacity to follow through on tasks
- Service Procedures
- Wine Service
- Coffee Knowledge
- Food and Beverage Pairing Knowledge
- Glassware Knowledge
- Inventory
- POS Systems
Our ideal candidate is a cocktail enthusiast, with a real passion and interest in hospitality and the craft of serving drinks.- The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the fundamentals of showmanship
- Be knowledgeable in beer, wine, and spirits
- Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience in bartending and serving, and be comfortable in a fast paced, high volume restaurant.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($11.00) plus tips
