Now Hiring: Front of House Positions
The Alinea Group is proud to partner with Big Sky Resort for an exciting restaurant residency in Big Sky, Montana this winter season (M by The Alinea Group). We’re seeking passionate, detail-oriented hospitality professionals for a unique, two-part experience: onboard and train with us in Chicago, then transition to Big Sky for the full winter season.
This opportunity is for candidates who are committed to:
- 2 months in Chicago (for onboarding and training with The Alinea Group)
- + 4 months in Big Sky, Montana (full-season commitment: December 1st–March 31st)
About the Role:
We are hiring for a variety of Front of House positions:
- Server Assistants
- Servers
- Senior Servers
- Expeditors
- Sommeliers
- Floor Manager
Chicago Onboarding (Pre-Season):
You'll begin your journey working at one of The Alinea Group’s award-winning restaurants in Chicago. This 2-month period offers the opportunity to develop a strong foundation in service, hospitality, and team culture before heading to Big Sky.
Big Sky Season Details:
- Season Dates: December through March (4-month commitment)
- Schedule: 5 working days per week in a 7-day operation
- Must be available for peak holiday service, including Christmas and New Year's
- Full-time residency in Big Sky is required during the season
- Employment Status: Temporary Full-Time, Big Sky Resort Employee with enhanced training by The Alinea Group for 2 months prior
Employment Structure:
- You will be hired as a temporary employee by The Alinea Group for the duration of your time in Chicago.
- Upon transition to Big Sky, you will be onboarded as an employee of the Big Sky restaurant’s operating company for the full winter season.
