Bartender / Key Holder

Otto's Taproom & Grille seeks a professional, energetic, and inspired Bartender / Key holder for our newly renovated restaurant. At Otto's we are focused on bringing craft cocktails, delicious grilled bites, and local as well as European brews to Brewerytown, Philadelphia. We are searching for a motivated team member who can multitask, focus on attention to detail, execution, and cleanliness in a team-oriented, fast-paced, guest centric environment.

Qualified candidates will:

• be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company approved uniform at all times
• operate P.O.S. system, make change correctly and make credit card transactions accurately
• verbalize menu items clearly to guests while taking their orders or responding to their request
• be able to read and write
• be able to stand and walk during entire shift
• must be able to reach, bend, stoop and wipe counters/tables
• follow recipes and prepare drinks and prep to spec
• prepare the bar for service
• possess basic technical skills
• exercise proper safety and sanitation
• prepare the restaurant for service
• have an ability to multitask
• communicate and collaborate with your manager and team 
• have a willingness to learn and grow 
• make sure the bar is organized
• have prior restaurant experience including serving, bartending and floor managing
• opening and closing the restaurant
• managing security
• oversee daily operations when management is not available
