Two-Michelin Starred Restaurant seeks Back-Waiter to learn and grow

Saison Restaurant - two Michelin stars, Relais & Châteaux, Les Grandes Tables du Monde, World’s 50 Best Restaurants, Wine Spectator Grand Award - is seeking a Back Waiter and Host to join our team.

We are evolving fine dining restaurant culture and seeking individuals who are committed to excellence and interested in working for and growing with compassionate leaders.

Saison is recognized as the original fine dining establishment in the U.S. to use open hearth cooking. The San Francisco, CA institution launched modestly in 2009 as a pop-up, swiftly scaling into a full time brick and mortar and developing into a renowned two-star Michelin restaurant.


Today, Saison is an open wood fire restaurant emphasizing the bounty of California’s evolving terroir under the leadership and vision of Executive Chef Richard Lee. It is driven by his dedication to purity and innovation, paired with a Grand Award-winning wine list in a dynamic space where guest and team celebrate an intimate, culture-shifting experience. Chef Lee builds upon Saison’s formidable foundation, crafting nuanced flavors with intention inspired by the culinary diversity of Northern California.


Saison has one of the country’s largest and most remarkable selections of Old and New World wines curated by co-founder and winemaker Mark Bright with Saison Beverage Director and Assistant General Manager Molly Greene.

Saison began as a pop-up restaurant in 2009, conceived by Chef Joshua Skenes and Partner/Wine Director Mark Bright. After Saison’s initial success, Skenes and Bright opened a brick and mortar restaurant in 2010. In 2013, Saison moved to its current location on 178 Townsend St. and was selected as one of Bon Appetit’s “10 Best New Restaurants of 2013.” In addition, the UK-based Elite Traveler named Skenes as one of the “15 Most Influential Chefs of the Next Decade.” In the spring of 2014, Saison received the “One to Watch” in Restaurant Magazine’s annual 50 Best Restaurants Awards in London, a 4-star rating from the San Francisco Chronicle and a 3-star rating from the Michelin Guide.
