La Sardine is looking for an experienced Manager/Maitre D’ . We are looking for an industry veteran with the know-how to help us sustain the continued success we have achieved over the last 19 years, and help grow the restaurant for the years to come.
Extensive experience in Fine Dining.
Food and Wine/Spirits/Beer knowledge
Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time
Work with the owner and chef on daily operations.
Manage and oversee FOH positions
Conduct Pre-shift meetings
Work the door during service
Close up at the end of the night
La Sardine was opened by Jean Claude Poilevey and Susanne Poilevey in 1998, after their restaurant, Le Bouchon in Bucktown, had been open for 5 years. We serve classic Lyonnaise/French Bistro food in a white-tablecloth setting without snobbery.
