With multiple locations throughout New York City in some of Manhattan's trendiest neighborhoods, we are looking for energetic Servers with a positive attitude to join their Crew!
What You’ll Do
- Guest Engagement: Welcome guests with a smile and set the tone for their experience.
- Menu Knowledge: As a Server, you will guide guests throughout the menu and dining experience.
- Commitment to Quality Service: Ensure timely, efficient, and above all, a memorable experience. From taking orders to serving our curated dishes, you’ll be providing our guests with an experience they cannot recreate themselves.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to keep service flowing smoothly – it’s all about creating a seamless experience.
- Attention to Detail: Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked – because great service starts with great preparation.
Job Description:
- Prepare dining room for service by setting decor, condiments, candles, napkins, plates, and utensils.
- Greet guests promptly and take initial beverage order.
- Help guests to make selections from food and beverage menus, suggest courses and pairings, explain any off-menu dishes, and answer all food preparation questions.
- Communicate any allergies and dietary restrictions to kitchen, management, and bar.
- Take orders from guests and input into POS, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Communicate with kitchen to manage timing of courses, any guest feedback, etc.
- Deal with guest complaints by finding a way to say yes; Involve the Manager on Duty as needed.
- Process guest payments in timely, accurate manner.
- Process financials on shift-by-shift basis.
- Accurately report cash tips and contribute to tip pool; Record tip information on sheet, as directed by Management.
- Maintain expert knowledge of all menu offerings.
- Update knowledge and skills by participating in staff training opportunities.
- Complete opening and closing side work checklist for shift daily.
- Maintain sanitation to Department of Health standards; Keep work area clean and organized.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Maintain company issued uniforms to ensure that you are always ready to look and feel your best.
Other Requirements:
- Must possess a flexible and varied schedule to accommodate business demands, including weekends and Holidays.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Polished personal appearance and professional dress required.
- Ability to lift 30lbs unassisted.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Minimum 2 Years Experience in Full Service Restaurant.
- Knowledge of Italian Cuisine a plus, but not required.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($11.00) plus tips
