Job Details
Woon is a homestyle Chinese restaurant located in Historic Filipinotown. We are seeking an experienced line cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. We are a high volume restaurant with a small team that wears a lot of hats and works together to get things done.
5 days / week either AM or PM shifts - weekend availability is a must!
Wok or Sauté experience is a plus!
Requirements:
• Line cook experience is a must
• Food Handler's Card required
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Has basic math skills
• CLEAN
• Organized
• Team player

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $19.00) plus tips
Estimated Weekly Tips: $150.00

Woon began as a family run pop-up born from a desire to share our mother's (Mama Fong) original Chinese comfort food. We offer a simple menu influenced by Shanghainese and Cantonese recipes. When we moved away it was always Mama’s cooking that we craved. We all worked full-time jobs and hosted pop-ups in the Los Angeles area when we could. Now, we have our first brick and mortar space located in Historic Filipinotown.
