The Wedding Attendant plays a highly visible and deeply personal role in our events, serving as a direct point of care for couples and their families throughout the wedding day. This position blends hospitality, anticipation, and precision—ensuring that every detail is executed beautifully and every client feels fully supported from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities
- Open and prepare the venue spaces, including lighting, climate settings, suite readiness, and restroom stocking
- Confirm event layout aligns with the floor plan and BEO specifications
- Set tables according to BEO notes, including proper flatware, glassware, and napkin folds
- Execute décor setup according to provided décor lists
- Maintain radio communication and remain connected to the lead team throughout the event
- Support ceremony logistics and processional needs as directed by the Event Manager or Coordinator
- Maintain and monitor the bridal suite to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness at all times
- Provide attentive, personalized service to the couple from arrival to departure, including food, beverages, and check-ins throughout the event
- Deliver wedding party meals at designated times with all required accompaniments
- Ensure vendors receive meals in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure parents, VIP guests, and assigned tables are served appropriately and receive specialty food or beverage items
- Communicate any special guest needs (dietary restrictions, mobility concerns, VIP attention) to the Event Manager and support execution of accommodations
- Manage ceremonial items (cake knife, toasting flutes, guest book, cake top, etc.), ensuring proper cleaning, packing, and return to the designated individual
- Confirm sweetheart and assigned VIP table orders
- Organize gifts, leftover food, and personal items for client departure
- Clean and reset the wedding suite after event conclusion
- Maintain a polished, professional, and positive presence throughout the entirety of the event
Qualifications
- 2+ years of front-of-house banquet or event experience (on-premise and off-premise preferred)
- Strong verbal communication skills and professional demeanor
- Fine dining knowledge and an intuitive sense of hospitality
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Ability to problem-solve calmly and effectively in real time
- Open weekend availability is required
- Reliable transportation preferred (ability to navigate SEPTA or rideshare acceptable)
- RAMP certification, wine knowledge, bartending training, or strong food and beverage background preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work 10–12 hour event shifts
