The Revival Food Hall General Manager is responsible for the oversight of all management team members within RFH, including all onsite 16” On Center entities. Additionally, the GM works directly with The National building General Manager and Blue Star Properties. Working closely with the BOH Operations/Floor Manager to oversee day-to-day functions by maintaining and adhering to sanitation standards and vendor guidelines. Reports all 16” On Center financials to CFO, managing partners and Director of Operations (i.e. prepares weekly COGS and P&L, submits bi-weekly payroll, completes monthly accounting close checklist). The General Manager is the liaison between RFH vendors and 16” On Center ownership – plans, organizes and leads bi-weekly Vendor Meetings. Most importantly, the GM must lead with the best example of enthusiasm for our concept, customer appreciation, and co-worker interactions.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Prepares agendas and financials for daily and weekly meetings with the RFH management team, the 16”OC Financial team, 16” OC key members, and Blue Star Property management (when applicable).
Oversee efficient staff scheduling by department and ensure that their productivity is met or exceeded by company standards. This includes oversight of RCB bar manager, café manager, and bakery manager.
Create, utilize and reinforce communication tools for the support and development of effective delivery and implementation of operational action items and initiatives.
Oversight of the development, and implementation of all opening, mid-shift and closing staffing guidelines for daily, weekly, and monthly operations.
Sees all tasks assigned to completion, following up and documenting as necessary.
Working with the BOH Operations Manager and vendors, help to maintain and further develop a sanitation strategy. Pursue opportunities for compliance, documenting violations and corrections, communicating regularly with all principle owners and on-site managers.
Possess working knowledge of and stay up to date on compliant food safety practices and corrective actions.
Working with the BOH Operations Manager and Blue Star Engineering team to see through all maintenance repairs and requests are addressed and seen to completion in a timely manner. Monitor all spaces within Revival Food Hall for structural, aesthetic, and safety repairs.
Ongoing development of Aireus Point-of-Sale and being the onsite liaison for vendor communication and training.
Working directly with OnShore Security to ensure overall stability of internal RFH network, including but not limited to public, private and POS networks.
Oversee the planning and promotion and marketing of RCB events led by bar manager and café manager.
Collaborate with RFH Events + Marketing Coordinator to create and implement ongoing in-house events for RFH and RCB.
Oversight of RCB and Bakery managers to meet/exceed budgeted sales goals and reducing labor costs and costs of goods sold while maintaining service standards and quality of product.
Participate in monthly financial closing and review processes as well as results under direction of group CFO and principle ownership.
Working with CFO and managing partners to secure sole provider partnerships exclusive to Revival Food Hall i.e. online ordering platform.
