Job Details

We are looking for a bartender to join our team at a.bar, located at the corner of 18th and Walnut, right off of Rittenhouse Square. Our busy cocktail bar is known for an extensive spirits selection and a cocktail program that is consistently listed among the best in Philadelphia. We are open 7 nights a week, from 4pm - midnight Tuesday through Saturday, and 4pm - 10pm on Sundays and Mondays. The position is likely for 3-4 shifts per week with the possibility of short prep shifts that are paid a flat rate of $20/hr.

The ideal candidate has multiple years of cocktail bartending experience and has long-term aspirations in the hospitality industry. While creativity and beverage knowledge are highly valued, a service-first and team-first attitude is an essential part of working here. We offer the full food menu from a.kitchen as well as a.kitchen's nationally-recognized bottle list, so knowledge of service standards and wine are also required.
