Position Summary
The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of Cucina Alba, ensuring a seamless guest experience, fostering a positive team culture, and driving financial performance. This role requires a dynamic, hands-on leader with a deep understanding of hospitality, team development, and operational excellence in a high-volume, upscale environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, train, and inspire all front-of-house staff, ensuring hospitality excellence and adherence to service standards

Partner closely with the Executive Chef and back-of-house team to ensure smooth coordination and execution

Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, reservations, guest flow, and service pacing

Manage P&L, budgeting, labor, inventory, and cost control initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability goals

Maintain a culture of accountability, professionalism, and warmth throughout the restaurant

Act as the face of the restaurant, engaging with guests, resolving issues, and ensuring a consistently high-quality experience

Recruit, hire, and onboard team members, fostering professional development and retention

Implement systems and SOPs to drive operational efficiency and consistency

Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations

Liaise with ownership and report on performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities
Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a high-end, full-service restaurant

Deep understanding of NYC dining culture and guest expectations

Proven leadership and team-building skills in a high-volume environment

Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, cost controls, and scheduling

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Passion for hospitality, food, and service excellence

Working knowledge of reservation and POS systems (Resy, Toast, Aloha, etc.)
