We’re looking for an experienced culinary professional to join our team as our AM Sous Chef — someone who embodies our ethos of honest, soul-warming food rooted in solid technique and thoughtful execution.
Full-Time. Weekends are a must. $28-35 an hour which includes tips.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years previous experience as a Sous Chef
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate efficiently with team
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work calmly and effectively in a high volume kitchen
- Excellent attention to detail, including delicate and precise tasks
- Knowledge of jewish american, ashkenazi, sephardic, eastern european and levantine cuisines is a plus but not a requirement.

Kitchen Operations & Efficiency
- Oversee inventory and ordering
- Manage food and labor costs, kitchen budgets, and waste reduction
- Ensure kitchen organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards
- Maintain deep-cleaning and equipment maintenance schedules
Quality & Service
- Support the Chef De Cuisine with daily kitchen operations and running the line
- Actively support smooth service in coordination with FOH
- Be a visible leader during service, open to guest feedback and engagement
