Ludlow Liquors is looking for a line cook who is also interested in picking up some barback shifts. Looking to gain some FOH experience? Then this is the right place for you! No barback experience required — we’ll train the right person. What we do require: at least 2 years of kitchen experience and weekend availability.
This is a part-time position with the potential to transition to full-time. Full-time employees (after a qualifying period) are eligible for health insurance. (we offer 4 tiers of Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans)
Responsibilities:

Line and grill cooking

Kitchen prep (sauces, meats, fryer, grill, plancha)

Opening and closing the kitchen

Barback support
-
Maintaining a clean and organized work space

Providing friendly, helpful service when interacting with guests

Taking direction and staying calm under pressure
Requirements:

1–2 years of kitchen experience

Solid knife skills and food safety knowledge
-
Dependable, punctual, and self-directed
-
Team player with strong communication skills

Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Pay & Benefits:

Starting at $20/hr (based on experience) | ($12.62/hr for bar-backing)

Plus 11.5% of food sales in tips | (20% full pool tip-out for bar-backing)
(Average $25–$35/hr total)
