Job Title: Dining Room Support Team
About Us:
Fleur’s is a soon-to-open upscale casual French restaurant focused on thoughtful cooking, a respectful team culture, and high standards across every part of the operation. Our Dining Room Support Team is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of service and enhancing the guest experience.
Job Summary:
We’re seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals for our Support Team. This role encompasses the responsibilities of Food Runners and Bussers, ensuring that dishes are delivered promptly and accurately, and that tables and dining areas are clean and ready for the next guests. You will be a vital link between the kitchen and the dining room, contributing to an efficient and enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Food Running:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables accurately and efficiently
- Learning and understanding the menu to a level of expertise so that each dish can be beautifully described while being presented
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers regarding dish timing and presentation
- Answering guest questions while tableside
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet Fleur’s standards before delivery
- Polish glassware & silverware as needed throughout service
- Bussing:
- Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly and quietly
- Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware according to standards
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including sweeping and spot cleaning
- Empty trash and recycling bins as needed throughout service
- Polish glassware & silverware as needed throughout service
- Refill water glasses for guests
- Support servers by refilling condiments, bringing extra napkins, or assisting with guest requests
- General Support:
- Work collaboratively with all front-of-house and back-of-house team members
- Anticipate dining room needs and proactively assist where necessary
- Adhere to all sanitation and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a restaurant support role (food runner, busser, or similar) is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail regarding cleanliness and table presentation
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and bus tubs (up to 25-50 pounds) and stand/walk for extended periods
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Punctual and dependable
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($5.00) plus tips
