Line Cook

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary team at a new restaurant opening in Miami Beach . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by preparing ingredients and ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and execution, aspire to grow within the culinary field and is enthusiastic about being guided by a James Beard awarded chef.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as per recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring all food safety standards are met.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools.
• Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the head chef.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
• Follow dietary guidelines and special requests from customers when preparing food items.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high end restaurant or kitchen.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
• Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods is a plus.
