The Alimentari Charcutier/Cheesemonger works in the market and acts as the face of the store - it is a fast-paced, culinary driven position. You will focus on market products, slicing salumi and cheese, driving sales, organizing, and passionately teaching customers the basic knowledge of our wide array of offerings. This position also has tremendous education opportunities, growth potential, and is an excellent way to gain invaluable experience with a much celebrated restaurant group.
REQUIRED:
1-2 years experience in Food & Beverage hospitality
Flexible Schedule: Available to work AM, PM, weekends and holidays
Experience with deli slicers
Experience in cheese shop, deli/market places
Sales/Guest experience
Basic kitchen and knife skills
Experience with restaurant POS systems
Excellent communication skills
Able to maintain a professional, yet welcoming and friendly demeanor at all times
A genuine passion for learning about quality food and sharing it with the world
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Standing for 4 to 8 hours per shift with occasional climbing, bending and reaching.
- Ability to work in a kitchen/restaurant environment with varying temperatures.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English required, where essential for effective job performance (e.g., client-facing, safety-critical, or communication-intensive functions).
Experience with Italian cuisine
Appetite for growth, new experiences, and pushing the limits of a business

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00) plus tips
