Join our pastry team in a new & exciting catering/upscale events concept by Chef Daniel Boulud- Cuisine Boulud NYC! We are seeking passionate & professional Pastry Cooks who are looking to gain new skills, face thrilling challenges and nurture professional growth. If you have a positive attitude and a desire to learn in a fast paced environment with some of NYC’s leading Chefs, this position is for you! Candidates should be hospitality-minded, detail oriented & focused on personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- need to have basic pastry knowledge with desire to learn new skills & techniques / follow directions accordingly
- have the ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
- be responsible for the production and organization of the pastry station. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the production of desserts, rotation and usage of the products and professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures
- Primarily AM production schedule
Positions require:
- 1+ Year Pastry Cook experience, fine dining a plus
- Full availability - daytime hours, evening hours and weekends
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00)
