Line Cook

Chalet is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Line Cook to join our dynamic back-of-house team. Ideal candidates will have strong culinary fundamentals, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces)

• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations

• Ensure food is prepared to the restaurant’s standards of quality and consistency

• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

• Assist with receiving and proper storage of deliveries

• Participate in daily prep and cleaning tasks as assigned by Chef or Sous Chef

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in a professional kitchen preferred

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-first attitude

• Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment

• Ability to follow recipes and execute dishes accurately

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
