Job Details
Purslane Cafe is looking for a friendly, reliable, and service oriented Barista to join our team. This role is responsible for taking customer orders, preparing coffee and beverages, operating the POS system, and providing excellent guest service in a fast paced cafe environment. Baristas help create a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring orders are accurate and guests are served quickly.
Responsibilities include preparing beverages, taking and fulfilling guest orders, handling cash and card payments, and maintaining a clean and organized cafe space. Baristas are also responsible for restocking cups, lids, and other supplies, assisting with opening and closing duties, and keeping both the indoor cafe area and outdoor seating area clean, organized, and welcoming for guests.
The ideal candidate is friendly, attentive to detail, comfortable working in a high volume environment, and able to multitask while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills are important to help ensure smooth daily operations and a great experience for every guest who visits the cafe.
