About the Role:

We are currently seeking a competent, efficient, and passionate line cook to join our kitchen. This is a key role in a small but ambitious environment, where every plate reflects our commitment to quality, craft, and consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items in accordance with our menu and recipes
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
• Assist with menu planning and recipe development
• Help to maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
• Assist with washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Take direction and follow established procedures
• Adapt to changing circumstances and take on new responsibilities as required

Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members
• Experience in a small restaurant setting is an asset
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene best practices
