Now Hiring: PM Line Cooks at Scratchboard Kitchen
Scratchboard Kitchen in downtown Arlington Heights is hiring experienced PM Line Cooks to join our professional, chef-led kitchen. We are looking for cooks with strong fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to stay focused and composed during service.
This is a kitchen built on consistency, communication, and respect. We value cooks who take ownership of their station, work clean, and support the team.
Responsibilities

Execute dinner service with accuracy, urgency, and care

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station

Handle prep with efficiency and attention to par levels

Assist with expediting and help keep service flowing

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Communicate clearly and contribute to a respectful kitchen culture
Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen

Strong prep, station management, and service execution skills

Familiarity with inventory and par systems

Calm and focused under pressure
-
Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
-
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet during long shifts

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $21.00)
