Scratchboard Kitchen in downtown Arlington Heights is hiring experienced PM Line Cooks to join our professional, chef-led kitchen. We are looking for cooks with strong fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to stay focused and composed during service.

This is a kitchen built on consistency, communication, and respect. We value cooks who take ownership of their station, work clean, and support the team.

Responsibilities

  • Execute dinner service with accuracy, urgency, and care

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station

  • Handle prep with efficiency and attention to par levels

  • Assist with expediting and help keep service flowing

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

  • Communicate clearly and contribute to a respectful kitchen culture

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen

  • Strong prep, station management, and service execution skills

  • Familiarity with inventory and par systems

  • Calm and focused under pressure

  • Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet during long shifts
