We are currently seeking experienced, passionate, and service-driven Server/Captains to join our growing family. This role is ideal for professionals who lead with warmth, think with purpose, and act with integrity.
Position OverviewServers/Captains at The Huntōn are responsible for orchestrating seamless and elevated guest experiences through polished service, proactive communication, and team leadership. As ambassadors of our brand and values, Captains are both gracious hosts and knowledgeable service professionals—equally confident guiding wine pairings, narrating the menu, and anticipating the needs of every guest and team member.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding, personalized hospitality in alignment with The Huntōn core values.
- Lead the service team through pre-shift, table maintenance, and closing duties with confidence and care.
- Present and articulate food and beverage offerings with accuracy and enthusiasm.
- Execute all tableside service, including wine presentations and menu spiels, with a refined and engaging presence.
- Foster a positive, team-centered environment by mentoring junior staff and supporting peers.
- Actively contribute to a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain deep knowledge of seasonal menus, cocktails, and wine list—including provenance and preparation methods.
- Assist in creating memorable guest moments through thoughtful gestures and impeccable attention to detail.
- Uphold daily operations including sidework, inspections, and systems-driven execution.
- Communicate guest preferences and feedback with precision and tact.
- A warm, professional presence who naturally leads with hospitality.
- Confident and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Curious and continuously striving to learn, grow, and refine your craft.
- Collaborative and humble, capable of giving and receiving feedback.
- Experienced in fine dining, with an ability to multitask gracefully in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about food, wine, and the art of service.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Captain or Lead Server role in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
- Deep understanding of service mechanics, wine service, and guest engagement.
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to operational excellence.
- Prior experience with POS systems and cash handling required.
- Experience with Italian, French, or locally-driven cuisine a plus.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($3.00 - $5.00) plus tips
Estimated Weekly Tips: $950
