Join Our Team at Fausto – Pasta Cook (Full-Time)
Fausto, a warm and welcoming neighborhood restaurant and wine destination in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn, is looking for a passionate Pasta Cook to join our team! Our menu is market-driven, featuring elevated but approachable dishes, with a focus on locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. We pride ourselves on creating a vibrant and collaborative work environment where your passion for food can truly shine.
What We’re Looking For: We’re searching for someone who loves cooking pasta, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering top-quality dishes. If you have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for food and hospitality, you’ll fit right in!
About the Role:
- Full-time position (includes weekends)
- You’ll be working one of our two pasta stations, prepping and cookpasta
What We Expect:
- At least 2 years of experience in casual or fine dining (preferred).
- Ability to multitask under pressure while keeping a positive attitude.
- Commitment to quality and teamwork.
Your Responsibilities:
- Set up and close down your station following our high standards.
- Prep pasta and related items for daily service and the weekly prep schedule.
- Carry out opening/closing duties and assist with other tasks as needed.
- Stand for extended periods (over 6 hours) and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain the highest quality in all dishes.
