Bar Baserri is a new Spanish wine bar in the heart of Williamsburg, offering a vibrant menu of authentic tapas inspired by the flavors of Spain and the Basque Country. With a 100-bottle wine list and an intimate open kitchen, we bring the energy of a pintxos bar and the soul of Spanish hospitality to Brooklyn.
We’re looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Line Cook to join our opening kitchen team. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with high-quality ingredients and execute a seasonal menu that celebrates simplicity, flavor, and tradition.
What You’ll Do

Prepare and execute a variety of traditional Spanish tapas with consistency

Work collaboratively in a small, open kitchen environment alongside a tight-knit team

Assist in daily prep, station setup, and end-of-service breakdown

Uphold cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards

Contribute ideas for specials and seasonal dishes

Help maintain inventory and communicate needs with the Chef
What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen (experience with Spanish cuisine a plus, but not required)

Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques

Able to work cleanly and efficiently in a compact kitchen

Comfortable in a fast-paced, open-kitchen setting with guest visibility

Punctual, respectful, and team-oriented

Willing to learn and grow in a supportive, passionate kitchen
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($21.00 - $25.00)
